This restaurant style peanut chutney goes well with Idli,Dosa and even upma
Ingredients
Peanuts - Half cup
Gralic - 2Cloves
Cumin seeds - 1tbsp
Green chillies - 7
Tamarind - 1inch
For tempering
Mustard seeds 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds 1tbsp
Urad dal 1tbsp
Curry leaves 3strands
Red chillies 2
Procedure:
1.Add oil in pan..when its hot Add garlic and roast until brown
2. add cumin seeds and fry for about 1min
3.Add slited green chillies and saute them for 1min
4.Add peanuts and saute for 3min ..when they turn brown add a
small inch of tamarind and switch off the stove
5.Shift the ingredients into blender and make into smooth paste
6.Now tempering add oil in pan
7.Add mustard seeds followed by cumin seeds,urad dal,curry leaves and slitled red chillies
8.pour the Hot tempering over chutney
9.Peanut chutney is ready to serve
