Gulab Jamoon ?

Tried this Gulab jamoon in appe pan with 1tbsp of Ghee
Lets see Ingredients
Ingredients:
Dry Milk Powder 2cups
Maida 1/2cup
Baking powder 1/4tsp
Ghee 2tbsp
Oil 1tbsp
Water as needed
For the Syrup :
sugar 2cups
water 1cup
Lemon juice/vinegar 1tbsp
Few strands of Saffron(Optional)
Procedure :
1. In a deep vessel heat sugar and water 1:2 ratio
2. If you see a lot of froth add some lemon juice or vinegar...this is totally optional
3. Boil it for 10 min or until string consistency..when you touch the syrup with your fingers ..it should form a string
4. So switch off ..our syrup is ready
5. Sieve milk powder,Maida,baking powder 2 times ..this step is important..please don't skip
6. Add this mixture into a big bowl
7. Add 1 tbsp of oil in the sieved mixture and mix well
8. Now add water little by little and mix until forms a thick consistency..it should be like a dosa batter
9. Batter is Ready
10. Heat up appe pan and add 1 drop of ghee in each cavity
11. Add a spoonful of batter in each cavity and keep the flame on very low
12. keep the lid on and cook for 6 min or until golden color
13.Flip over and cook on the other side..this time don't put the lid
14.Cook until golden color and carefully add in the prepared sugar syrup
15. Tada oil free Gulab jamoons are ready to serve
