Daal Palak

Its Just Soul food 

Ingredients 

Dal 1small cup
Palak 2bunches
Green chillies 5

#For tempering 

Ghee 2tbsp
Mustard seeds 1/2tsp
Cumin seeds 1tbsp
Urad dal 1/2tsp
Onion 1
garlic pods 3
Red chillies 2
Curry leaves few
Turmeric 1/2tsp
Salt per taste
Red chilli powder 1tbsp

Procedure:

1. Soak Dal for about half an hour 
2. Meanwhile chop palak,onions and green chillies 
3. Pressure cook Dal,palak and green chillies for 4whistles
4. Blend the dal mixture with a spoon
5. For tadka Heat vok add ghee 
6. When its hot add mustard seeds followed by cumin seeds and urad dal 
7.When this starts spluttering add garlic,red chillies,turmeric and chopped onions
8.Saute everything and when onions are transparent add curry leaves,salt and red chilli powder 
9.Pour this hot tadka in Prepared dal
10.Mix everything and check for the salt
11. Ta-Da Dal Palak is ready to serve
